HII's Mission Technologies division is looking to solve the business problem of rapidly acquiring and fielding critical and emerging technologies to enhance national security and warfighter capabilities, particularly in the areas of integrated communications, networking, and Systems-of-Systems (SoS) technologies.
Requirements
- Ability to analyze system requirements and develop engineering specifications
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across engineering lifecycle phases
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in technical documentation
- Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools like MagicDraw or Cameo
- Prior experience working with military or aerospace platforms
- Master’s degree in a technical discipline is a plus
Responsibilities
- Conducts research and evaluates software and system performance, ensuring compliance with requirements and IA standards.
- Focuses on network operations and cyber warfare tactics to counter threats to information networks.
- Provides insight to DCO, aiding in cyber incident response.
- Evaluates system architecture and security design, applying cybersecurity engineering to enhance data usability.
- Supports LogRhythm and security tools, peer reviews, and cyber risk assessments, including threat modeling and vulnerability analysis.
- Engages in frequent working group meetings with the customer.
- Performs duties within laboratory or cloud based environment.
