Responsibilities
- Engage in the full life cycle of data engineering to include analysis, solution design, data pipeline engineering, testing, deployment, scheduling, and production support
- Deliver quality reporting and data business intelligence solutions to the organization and assist client teams with drawing insights to make informed, data driven decisions
- Builds on data management principles and methodologies to include new and emerging related technologies
- Use of various data analysis techniques to include data analysis, object-oriented programming languages, and/or data engineering skills (databases and ETL tools)
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to create standards and best practices for Business Intelligence and Data Management solutions
- Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of design
- Participates in design and code review sessions
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Software, Computer Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation
- Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Software, Computer Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or related field and 12 months of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation
