SNC is looking to leverage technical creativity to transform humanity through technology and imagination by designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging new and existing cloud-based data pipelines and transformations.
Requirements
- foundational, hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Java)
- demonstrated experience with SQL data modeling
- Working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases
- Experience with AWS cloud services: S3, Redshift, Glue
- Experience building data pipelines, architectures, and data sets
- Experience with object-oriented scripting languages and frameworks
Responsibilities
- design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing cloud-based data pipelines and transformations
- participate in design meetings and consult with business clients to develop processes and structures that ingest data from multiple sources into our cloud-based Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW)
- use a variety of tools to implement data integration, master data management, data lifecycle management, data security, data quality management, metadata management, and reporting and analytics
- perform defect corrections (analysis, design, code)
- build, implement, and improve cloud-based data pipelines
- design and implement data models that ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- troubleshoot and resolve issues related to production cloud resources
Other
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience
- U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or U.S. Department of Commerce
- strong communication skills to consult with business clients to gather technical requirements for data ingestions and models
- ability to explain technical problems to leadership, business, and other developers
- ability to document processes and standards
