Raytheon Vision Systems needs to modernize the digital backbone of its manufacturing operations by improving how data is collected, processed, and used, from automating MATLAB tools and report generation to migrating legacy systems and connecting equipment to the internal network.
Requirements
- SQL Server, FileMaker, and database migration strategies.
- Scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash/Shell, PowerShell).
- Report generation tools (e.g., Python, MATLAB, Excel macros).
- Networking protocols and hardware/software integration.
- Data validation and quality assurance methodologies.
- Experience in Data Analytics, system Integration, software development and/or Automation.
Responsibilities
- Migrate a FileMaker-based data collection system to a SQL Server-based architecture.
- Automate MATLAB GUI workflows to increase data review throughput.
- Develop tools to automate generation of reports using numeric, image, and text-based data.
- Upgrade and integrate existing production tooling with internal network infrastructure.
- Investigate and improve data generation practices to ensure consistency, validity, and relevance.
- Develop a viable path to an automated, machine learning environment
- Apply statistical and mathematical methods to quantify outcomes, analyze process data and improve yield.

- Work in controlled areas, cleanrooms, laboratories etc.
- Develop fundamental understanding of crystal growth and epitaxial processes
- Experience in production environment and multi-disciplinary engineering environment.
