The company needs a Data Engineer - Integration & Automation to modernize the digital backbone of manufacturing operations.
Requirements
- Experience in Data Analytics.
- SQL Server, FileMaker, and database migration strategies.
- Scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash/Shell, PowerShell).
- Report generation tools (e.g., Python, MATLAB, Excel macros).
- Networking protocols and hardware/software integration.
- Data validation and quality assurance methodologies.
- Experience in production environment and multi-disciplinary engineering environment.
Responsibilities
- Apply statistical and mathematical methods to quantify outcomes, analyze process data and improve yield.
- Migrate a FileMaker-based data collection system to a SQL Server-based architecture.
- Automate MATLAB GUI workflows to increase data review throughput.
- Develop tools to automate generation of reports using numeric, image, and text-based data.
- Upgrade and integrate existing production tooling with internal network infrastructure.
- Investigate and improve data generation practices to ensure consistency, validity, and relevance.
- Develop a viable path to an automated, machine learning environment
Other
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics or a (STEM) degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Work in controlled areas, cleanrooms, laboratories etc.
- A motivated and self-starting individual who interacts well in a team environment that includes both company colleagues and customers.
- Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite.
