Berkley Technology Services (BTS) is seeking a Data Engineer Intern to partner with a team of experienced data warehouse engineers and architects to gain hands-on experience related to the Berkley data warehouse and address the challenges of data management and integration in the insurance industry

Responsibilities
- Develop ETL processes using Databricks Notebooks or ADF
- Develop and utilize Enterprise scheduler
- Develop Databricks Notebooks, SQL, Stored Procedures, API’s
- Develop understanding of insurance, reinsurance, and financial data
- Develop RPA utilizing Python and/or UiPath
- Assist with implementation and management of DataStage, SSIS, Redgate,Fivetran,UiPath
- Collaborate with peer technical teams
Other
- At least three years of college or university coursework completed
- Registered student or recent graduate pursuing a major in an IT-related degree
- Prior related co-op, internship, and/or on or off-campus technical experience preferred but not required
- Experience leading group projects in a classroom, internship/co-op, and/or professional setting is a plus
