Epiq is seeking a Junior Data Engineer to build and maintain scalable data pipelines, support analytics initiatives, and enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python and SQL (must-have)
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and Power BI
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Data Stack (e.g., Azure Synapse, Data Factory, SQL Server)
- Certifications in Databricks, Azure, or Microsoft Fabric
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git)
- Exposure to data modeling and ETL frameworks
- Industry experience in financial services or legal domains
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using Databricks and Microsoft Fabric
- Write optimized SQL queries and develop data transformation logic
- Automate data workflows and ETL processes using Python
- Integrate and manage data across Azure Data Services (e.g., Data Lake, Synapse, SQL Database)
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for business stakeholders
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across systems
- Document data processes and contribute to engineering best practices

- 3-5 years of experience in data engineering or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Preferred: Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field.
