Booz Allen needs a Data Engineer to help clients find answers in their data to impact important missions, by organizing data gathered from disparate sources using advanced technology solutions and data engineering activities. The goal is to develop and deploy pipelines and platforms that organize and make disparate data meaningful.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience utilizing programming languages, including C++, Java, or Python
- 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining scalable data stores that supply big data in forms needed for business analysis
- Experience with GenAI tech and ML ops
- Experience with AWS
- Experience with creating software for retrieving, parsing and processing structured and unstructured data
- Experience with developing scalable ETL and ELT workflows for reporting and analytics
- Experience with application development utilizing SQL or Scala
Responsibilities

- Experience in creating solutions within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with a public cloud, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
- Experience with distributed data and computing tools such as Spark, Databricks, Hadoop, Hive, AWS EMR, or Kafka
