84.51° is looking for a Data Engineer to help scale advanced data science solutions within a retail media network context, enabling precision audience creation, segmentation, and closed-loop measurement.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in Python /PySpark/SQL
- 1+ year(s) experience working with one of the major cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP) – Azure preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure including Azure Data Services, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks and Snowflake
- Strong understanding of SOLID principles, medallion architecture and best practices in software development.
- Knowledge of API principles and best practices, including RESTful design and integration.
- Experience working on a collaborative team contributing to shared code bases
- Understanding of machine learning concepts and their application in data engineering.
Responsibilities
- Develop, and maintain scalable and reusable data pipelines and data storage solutions.
- Implement and optimize data warehousing solutions to support business intelligence and analytics.
- Apply machine learning concepts to enhance data processing and analysis capabilities at scale.
- Build scaled data science enablement tools to support engineering processes and empower data scientists in their analyses.
- Ensure code quality and maintainability by adhering to SOLID principles.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
