Simon & Schuster is looking to ensure seamless data integration between marketing, e-commerce, and backend technology solutions across their digital ecosystem.
Requirements
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud, CDPs
- In-depth knowledge of first-party data implementation strategies and their application in business processes
- Familiarity with API integration, data transformation, and scripting in Python or similar languages
- Proficiency with tag management solutions (e.g., Tealium, Google Tag Manager, etc.)
- Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g. BigQuery)
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality checks
- Experience with data security standards and compliance with privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and maintain product and marketing tracking across web and app platforms
- Integrate data from various sources, including learning platforms, CRM systems, marketing tools, and third-party APIs
- Build and maintain data models in cloud data warehouses
- Map data flows and system integrations
- Implement and maintain server-side tracking and data integrations
- Act as a liaison between developers, analysts, marketers, and decision-makers to align data strategies with business objectives
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems by managing imports, exports, extracts, file transfers, and integrations with external platforms
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in operations, with a focus on system integrations and data management
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data
- Strong project management skills and familiarity with tools like Confluence, Jira, or Trello
- Certification in relevant marketing platforms or methodologies
- Experience in direct response marketing or Ed Tech, subscription services or digital mobile apps
