Thyme Care is looking to transform the cancer care experience by building a nationally recognized technology-driven and provider-centric care delivery model, reshaping the landscape of cancer care access, delivery, and experience. The Data Engineer will help design, build, and maintain the systems and tooling that power Thyme Care's data ecosystem to enable accurate, efficient, and scalable data access across the company.
Requirements
- You have built, deployed, and maintained dbt data pipelines.
- You have strong SQL and Python skills.
- You have experience building workflow orchestration in tools like Dagster, Airflow, or Prefect.
- You have hands-on experience with Snowflake and/or Terraform.
- You’ve built internal tools for data teams or contributed to shared data infrastructure.
- You have worked in healthcare or other regulated data environments.
Responsibilities
- design, build, and maintain the systems and tooling that power Thyme Care’s data ecosystem
- collaborate closely with data analysts, data scientists, and healthcare actuaries to enable accurate, efficient, and scalable data access across the company
- owning key systems that ensure our data is reliable, observable, and actionable
- Ramp up on Thyme Care’s data platform architecture, pipelines, and tooling
- Play a critical role in migrating our existing tooling and infrastructure from Postgres to a new data warehouse
- Build and improve workflow orchestration using Dagster to ensure reliability and observability of our data processes
- Being developing internal tooling that empowers analysts, scientists, and actuaries to work more efficiently with our data

- You have worked as a data or platform engineer in a modern data stack environment, ideally in a fast-moving, early-stage or growth-stage company.
- You’re comfortable iterating quickly to ship MVPs, and you know how to take a project from a loosely scoped idea to a fully realized feature.
