Jefferson is looking to solve cybersecurity and information systems data sets and sources problems by designing, developing, and maintaining data analytics projects.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with data analytics and visualization tools (such as PowerBI)
- Ability to implement advance visualization techniques
- Hands-on experience in data engineering including modeling, scripting, and query
- Hands-on experience in data management and building data architecture such as data warehouse
- Expert in suite of data analytics capacities in Azure
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity
- DP-100 Machine Learning& Data Science Exam, DP-600 :Implementing Analytics Solutions Using Microsoft Fabric, DP 203: Data Engineering on Microsoft Azure
Responsibilities
- Works directly with cyber groups to identify, define and document requirements for reports/dashboards.
- Design and develops new reports and dashboards for various business groups (prepares, models and visualized data in tools like Qlik Sense and PowerBI).
- Design and develop ETL pipelines and data transformations to normalize and combine data from information security and infrastructure tools.
- Develops models of risk including loss event frequency and loss event magnitude to prioritize cybersecurity efforts.
- Uses knowledge of cybersecurity operations to track key performance metrics and drivers of risk.
- Presents data results outputs to partners as needed.
- Provides training to interns and other entry level staff.

- High School Diploma Required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 6+ years of experience
- Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
- Mentors cyber and IT department leaders on using dashboards and reports.
