Danaher is looking to solve data integrity, optimization, and upkeep of the DHR Corporate Procurement Systems databases and ETL processes
Requirements
- Proven experience as an SQL Developer, specifically with T-SQL
- Solid understanding of database design principles, indexing, and normalization
- Firsthand experience with Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, and other Azure services preferred
- Experience with database migration projects is a plus
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert are advantageous
Responsibilities
- Analyze, troubleshoot, document and optimize SQL Databases, ETL processes
- Investigate, improve, and maintain data quality
- Leverage other Azure resources such as Azure Data Factory and Logic Apps to manage ETL tasks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, system administrators, and data analysts to integrate and optimize database solutions within the Microsoft stack
- Monitor database performance, implement performance tuning, and ensure data security and integrity
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) and a minimum of 3 year's of data analyst or data engineering role
- Excellent critical thinking skills, data curious and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to work in a remote work arrangement
- Eligibility for bonus/incentive pay
