Requirements
- Strong experience in data engineering, with a deep understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and database management
- Proficiency in Power BI for building reports, dashboards, and data models
- Experience with SQL, DAX, and Power Query for data transformation and analysis
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and data warehousing solutions
- Strong programming skills in languages like Python, R, or similar for data manipulation and automation
- Experience working with data pipelines and workflow orchestration tools
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems, Transportation Management Systems, or related software
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL processes to integrate data from various sources
- Build and optimize data pipelines to support data processing and analytics
- Develop and maintain relational and NoSQL databases for storing operational, transactional, and historical data
- Create and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to provide real-time insights
- Implement data validation, cleansing, and transformation processes to ensure data integrity and quality
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with data discrepancies, report accuracy, or performance
- Manage the ongoing maintenance of Power BI reports
Other
- Work closely with warehouse managers, logistics coordinators, and business leaders to understand data needs
- Collaborate with internal and external teams and other data professionals to ensure proper data governance
- Provide actionable insights to support business decisions and optimize operations
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language
- Problem-solving orientation with the ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
