At Apple, the Business Analytics team is looking to support projects, process improvement and report development, and maintain and enhance the freight costing engine while driving automation in processes.
Requirements
- Data skills - ability to query data using SQL and Python, connect back-end data and systems to business processes, perform analysis with complex data, visualize using Tableau, MS Excel
- Proficiency with Python for advanced analytics automation
- Experience with SAP, TMS Systems
- Ability to review process flows and develop new solutions to enable efficiency
- Collaborate with technical teams to translate ambiguous business requirements into sustainable processes and workflows
- Hands on experience in Logistics, Finance and various Operations functions (Planning, Order Management, Forecasting)
- Experience with Financial Forecasting Planning and Analytics (FP&A)
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance our freight costing engine while driving automation in our processes
- Create management systems and suggest process improvements to drive accuracy and efficiency
- Conduct deep data profiling and analysis using SQL and Python to uncover actionable insights, trends, and business anomalies
- Lead automation of reporting workflows and contribute to the rollout of advanced analytics tools, improving reporting speed and accuracy
- Design, develop, and support dashboards and reports for our stakeholders
- Provide analysis to support business management and executive decision-making
- Work with Apple’s IS&T team to drive development of tools to better support business analytics
Other
- BS in Engineering, Business Analytics, Finance, Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Statistics, Marketing or related field
- 5-10 years relevant experience
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across teams and timezones
- Strong work ethic and passion to go beyond what is expected
