Boston Scientific is looking to solve challenges in the health industry by developing complex electro-mechanical medical device systems, specifically within the Interventional Cardiology Coronary Therapies team. This role will support clinical data management and the development of machine learning & classical algorithms for medical devices.
Requirements
- Experience with AWS and cloud technologies
- Experience with machine learning development frameworks
- Working knowledge of image processing
- Manipulating tabular metadata using SQL and Python’s Pandas library
Responsibilities
- Review, annotate, and prepare medical images to support machine learning & classical algorithm development.
- Maintain the storage and organization of medical images, annotations, and associated information.
- Develops and supports validation of tools for analyzing data sets and processing medical images through commercial & exploratory algorithms.
- Write and run unit tests
- Support code refactoring and testing code written by others
- Collaborate closely with data scientists, cloud data engineers, algorithm engineers, clinical engineers, software engineers and systems engineers locally and globally
- In all actions, lead with integrity and demonstrate a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to all documented quality processes and procedures.

- Must graduate between December 2026 – Spring 2027
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate level degree majoring in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering
- Must be able to commit to one of the following full internship program periods: May 18th – August 7th OR May 26th – August 14th
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the Maple Grove or Arbor Lakes Minnesota Boston Scientific Corporate location
