EDO is looking to build out its next generation Ad EnGage data pipeline to automatically measure and optimize advertising effectiveness across streaming platforms and TV networks, processing large volumes of data to provide clients with insights for critical business decisions.
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 years of software engineering experience, including at least 3+ years of data engineering experience and at least 2+ years of experience leading teams
- Strong knowledge of data warehouses, cloud computing, and ETL/data pipeline technologies
- Strong proficiency with SQL and a scripting language such as Python or Ruby
Responsibilities
- Hands-on manager of a team of ~5; act as a player/coach; stay close to the details of project work while supporting your team members as full owners, amplifying the impact of their work
- Lead cross-functional development of complex new features and capabilities, coordinating across the Data Science, Infrastructure, Front End, and Data Quality teams
- Solve data engineering challenges that arise from the intersection of multi-trillion-row datasets, demanding product requirements, and need for automation and scalability

- We recognize the benefits of hybrid working and want to create the best balance. For this role, we have a strong preference for 2-3 days a week in our SF or NY office.

- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
- The ability to efficiently deliver good outcomes in open-ended situations with difficult engineering and business tradeoffs
- Previous industry experience working with TV or other advertising data is a plus
