The business problem is to lead and support the development of large complex and exciting data engineering implementations for an omnichannel insurtech company.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in managing technical projects and teams in EDW/BI space.
- Hands on Experience in SQL.
- Experience in implementing MDM solution.
- 2+ years hands on experience with Snowflake on Azure
- 4+ years with ETL tools such as ADF, Talend, and Fivetran
- Experience with Jira for project tracking
Responsibilities
- Define the end-to-end technical solutions alongside with analyzing the current state and constraints.
- Develop and improve support related processes and workflows and look for areas for Improvements.
- Create and define the solution architecture for assigned program / and identifies technical issues and risks and defines mitigation approach.
- Works with a Team of onshore/offshore Developers, Architects, and business Analyst for defining the future state architecture & the interfaces.
- Provides input, guidance, and direction for the development of project level solution architecture.
- Develops the architecture artifacts and Technical Design flows and Documents.
- Ability to lead/operate independently small to large group meetings for reviewing technical architecture, decision making and problem solving.

- Critical thinking and technical acumen and leadership right from the ideation stage of the project.
- Prepares and delivers presentations to business and technology partners and senior management/executives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field is required.
