Requirements
- Proficiency in Snowflake and advanced SQL
- Experience with Oracle and Python ETL processes
- Strong data analysis skills
- Cloud technology experience (AWS preferred)
- Ability to design, build, and deploy data solutions
- Familiarity with SSIS and other data environments
- Understanding of data governance, security, and quality management principles
Responsibilities
- Work closely with business teams to understand requirements and support data needs
- Perform data analysis, manage ad-hoc data requests, and ensure high-quality data availability to drive data-driven decision making
- Develop and maintain data pipelines across diverse environments (Snowflake, Oracle Exadata, SSIS, etc.)
- Collaborate with multiple teams to deliver data solutions for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and business intelligence initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure data products
- Conduct data and system analysis to identify and resolve defects, ensuring smooth data flow
- Write and fine tune advanced SQL scripts, stored procedures, and queries for large scale datasets
Other
- 5 years of experience in building robust data solutions
- Insurance or financial services domain knowledge is highly desirable
- Ability to work in an agile development environment
- Passion for working with data and solving complex problems
- Must be primarily in the office, as AIG values in-person collaboration
