Citi is looking to implement data governance for its Investor Services (Custody and Funds) business. The role aims to improve data quality, understand data lineage, and identify critical data elements to support business needs and remediation efforts.
Requirements
- Technical experience to include intermediate/advanced SQL skills
- Python, Java, COBOL, Visual Studio, Ab Initio, Data Lineage capture tools (i.e.: IBM Manta, Ab Initio MetaHub), or other development languages helpful
- Demonstrated expertise in presenting and using planning tools
- Proven diplomatic and analytical skills
- Proven ability to manage complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact by weighing various action plans and balancing potentially conflicting needs
- Experience in systems analysis helpful
Responsibilities
- Develop creative technical solutions to meet business needs and manage complex, high-volume data governance implementation efforts in partnership with Product and Technology partners and stakeholders
- Manage complex application and critical data element-level lineage across geographies and products for Citi Services.
- Contribute to formulation of strategies/processes to implement Citi Data Governance Data Policies
- Responsible for data quality validation and remediation from root cause analysis through remediation planning and providing input to Product and Technology based on analysis of information
- Provide advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business and filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex material from multiple sources
- Manage a team of Data Stewards to execute priorities of the Data Domain Manager

- Knowledge and experience in Investor Services (Custody and Funds) domain is desired.
- Experience in Data Governance and Custody product is preferred.
- This position is to lead a team of Data Stewards in Data Governance activities.
