FanThreeSixty is looking for interns to gain hands-on experience and practical training in data analysis, assisting in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of their data and reporting products. This role aims to contribute meaningfully to projects while building foundational skills for future careers in data analysis.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of data querying and analysis tools and standards, such as SQL/database tools and version control (e.g. Git).
- Familiarity with one or more programming languages (e.g. Python).
- Demonstrates critical thinking and analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Analytics, or a related field; alternatively, a graduate of an analytics boot camp.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace tools, including Gmail, Docs, Sheets, and Calendar.
- Must demonstrate academic achievement, initiative, work ethic, and willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of our data and reporting products.
- Engaging in the full data analysis lifecycle, including data cleaning, manipulation, analysis, and visualization, while learning and applying industry best practices.
- Contribute to the creation of data pipelines and analytical reports following team methodologies and best practices.
- Develop, document, and test code changes under the guidance of senior team members.
- Participate in code reviews and implement feedback to improve code quality.
- Identify and address bugs, while learning to determine root causes and prevent recurring issues.
- Building hands-on experience and learning to navigate the database schemas and analytical tools.
Other
- Collaborate with mentors and team members to work on small, well-defined bugs, features, or projects.
- Build an understanding of existing products and their role in supporting our clients and industries.
- Communicate with the Product Team regarding the implementation of functional requirements.
- Represent FanThreeSixty professionally in all interactions.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
