Manage vendor relationships, oversee expense and inventory management, and ensure compliance with licensing agreements for market data.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of financial data or vendors of market data
- Analytical ability and technical skills(Experience with Alteryx or Python is a plus)
Responsibilities
- Assist in building and maintaining a vendor database repository for AWM (Market and Alternative Data) vendors, focusing on fields/categories such as: Products offered – e.g., ESG, pricing, reference data, index, etc.
- Contractual usage allowances (limitations by sub LOB, user counts, geographical, etc.)
- External redistribution allowance – client reporting
- Downstream consumption - repositories/applications utilizing the data (Internal Systems)
- Key stakeholders – database/business owners
- Support the CDO WM IPB lead for Alternative Data sources by researching alternative vendors and providing insights to assist the business.
- Provide foundational analysis and support for the license service, including: Fielding business licensing requests
Other
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or equivalent work experience
- Industry experience (Financial, Vendor Management) is preferred
- Ability to handle questions quickly, drawing on available sources of information and individuals
- Ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs
