Atlantic Health System is seeking a summer intern to contribute to their Clinical Education team, focusing on improving the onboarding and career path development for nursing students and entry-level healthcare professionals, while also supporting grant reporting and workforce planning.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and database management
- Ability to work with large datasets and generate report with support and oversight by Department of Labor team
Responsibilities
- Manage and update databases related to nursing student rotations
- Prepare regular reports, including turnover metrics for nursing students and other key performance indicators
- Support the tracking and reporting requirements for the Federal Department of Labor Grant
- Work with C-level executives on pipeline management and workforce planning for future health care and nursing talent
- Assist with database management, ensuring accurate data input and reporting integration into clinical operations
- Ability to work with large datasets and generate report with support and oversight by Department of Labor team
Other
- Assist with the onboarding and career path development of nursing students and nurse externs as well as entry level applicants who are interested in a health care career.
- Support relationships with nursing schools and other educational partners.
- Provide administrative support to the team as needed.
- Applicants must be currently enrolled in a full-time accredited public or private College/University
- Be in good academic standing
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Work 37.5 hours per week and commit to a minimum of 375 hours for the duration of the internship
- Must be committed to completing the duration of the internship from June 2026 - August 2026
- Strong interpersonal skills.
