Sanofi is looking to design and manage a comprehensive data management program to drive data-driven decision-making and optimize commercial operations to support business objectives, specifically in the area of Business Dynamics and Patient and Payer data programs.

Requirements

  • Very strong subject matter expertise in the relevant Data Management Program domain (data sources, technologies, services, etc).
  • Strong knowledge of data management principles and practices.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial operations areas.
  • Expert knowledge of the APLD/claims/labs/biomarkers, etc data ecosystem and how these data assets are used in a wide variety of commercial applications.
  • Expert knowledge of source-of-business data assets (a major responsibility will be ownership of the custom deliverables for indication-level SoB reports which include SP data and Dx claims).
  • Expert knowledge of the payer data ecosystem, including formulary/UM criteria databases, payer-plan-PBM hierarchies, lifecycle claims, use of APLD/rebate data in GTN analysis.
  • Knowledge of special and emerging areas like patient tokenization, specialty pharmacies / IDN specialty pharmacies / SP data integration, SDOH.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and implement a commercial data strategy that aligns with the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Design, build, and run an operations program to ensure the effective processing and management of data.
  • Ensure data management investments are maximized by our stakeholders.
  • Lead, inspire, and develop Data Management team members in the United States and India.
  • Effectively manage and optimize all resources.
  • Ensure all data and services are in full compliance with Sanofi policies, with particular attention to GxP, privacy, and anti-kickback areas.
  • Understand treatment & market access dynamics (patient, prescriber, payer)

Other

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Business, Life Sciences). Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in positions related to data strategy and operations, preferably also with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the life sciences industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving organizational change.
  • Ability to work in a culturally diverse workforce.
