The IMCOM G4 cybersecurity and information assurance team needs a Data Management Technician to coordinate and conduct research and assessment activities that provide data to support and enhance decision-making, strategic planning, outcomes assessment, accreditation, and external reporting. The role also involves managing, organizing, and maintaining data systems and security protocols to ensure the integrity and protection of sensitive information.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in data management, preferably in a cybersecurity environment.
- Strong knowledge of database management systems and data security protocols.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, FISMA).
- Experience with eMASS, STIG Viewer, and ACAS.
- Experience with data analysis tools and techniques.
- An active DoD Secret clearance.
- Associate's degree (AA) or 2-year technical school diploma in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or other Engineering or Technical discipline.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and conduct research and assessment activities to support decision-making and strategic planning.

- Collect, organize, and analyze data related to cybersecurity and information assurance.
- Assist in the development and implementation of data security policies and procedures.
- Monitor data systems for potential security breaches and respond to incidents.
- Perform regular data backups and ensure data recovery processes are in place.
- Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to enhance data protection measures.

- An active DoD Secret clearance.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances.
- Must be able to maintain contractual obligations such as annual DoD training, CAC card, and other requirements as needed.
