The company is seeking a Data Migration Expert to lead end-to-end data migration initiatives across enterprise systems, ensuring smooth transitions from legacy platforms to modern, cloud-based, and SaaS environments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in data migration, ETL, or database engineering.
- 3+ years of experience with SQL, managing data in relational databases, and common ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS, Pentaho).
- 3+ years of experience with migrations to cloud-based systems (AWS, Azure, Salesforce, ServiceNow, etc.).
- Excellent knowledge of data modeling, schema mapping, and integration concepts and best practices.
- Proven track record of successful migration projects in complex, enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing for data migration.
- Experience with federal/state government or regulated industry migrations.
Responsibilities
- Lead planning, design, and execution of data migration strategies for enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with business, technical, and vendor teams to assess migration scope, risks, and dependencies.
- Develop and optimize migration scripts, ETL processes, and automation workflows as required.
- Perform data profiling, cleansing, and transformation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Conduct validation, reconciliation, and quality checks post-migration.
- Document migration approach, processes, and lessons learned for future reuse.
- Provide technical guidance on data governance, compliance, and security during migration.

- Must be able to support Eastern Time Zone
- Active Secret Clearance required due to contract requirements
- MUST RESIDE in the United States (U.S.), and the work MUST BE PERFORMED in the United States (U.S.), as this work is for a federal contract and laws do apply.
- US Citizens due to federal contract requirements.
- Occasional travel may be required based on project needs.
