SSOE is seeking a knowledgeable Data Network Infrastructure Design Lead to join their team of low voltage system designers to provide clients with the necessary infrastructure for their project needs.
Requirements
Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification from BICSI is preferred.
Outside Plant Designer (OSP) certification from BICSI is preferred.
Minimum of (5) five years related designer experience with former employer(s).
Microsoft Copilot training will be provided.
Responsibilities
Participate in Data/Fire/Security (DFS) department collaboration meetings to provide your project(s) status, budget updates, and projected workloads.
Review and comprehend the DFS scope of work in client’s request for proposal (RFP).
Assist the project manager in writing the DFS section of a narrative and estimate the number of hours it will take to complete the project for the proposal.
Attend and participate in project coordination meetings. Collaborating with the client and the other SSOE design leads for the data network, fire alarm, and security system needs.
Evaluate, select, and apply methods and techniques to the data network design.
Coordinate and assist the fire alarm and security designer with project specific details.
Remain flexible throughout the project and assist the project manager and client with various value engineering methods.

A valid driver's license is required. May be waived for international assignments.
Competitive Salary: $70k - $90k/year depending on location, education, experience, and certifications.
