Muon Space seeks a Data Platform Software Engineer to develop/operate a robust platform for data/ML pipelines using satellite and geospatial datasets to support climate change monitoring and mitigation initiatives.
Requirements
- Experience building and maintaining container orchestration software platform
- Experience using CI/CD processes for software and GitOps processes for infrastructure
- Experience using modern observability technologies for application and infrastructure monitoring
- Building APIs at scale for data access
- Proven experience in systems analysis, troubleshooting and design, with a strong understanding of the interplay between hardware and software.
- Production experience with common geospatial data formats
Responsibilities
- Scale and maintain Muon's data workflow orchestration platform
- Collaborate on and improve data and ML pipelines
- Provide expert support and maintain knowledge of data platform solutions
- Collaborate with satellite and payload engineering teams to establish data requirements for MuonSpace data products
Other
