Requirements
- Advanced knowledge and use of data manipulation/reporting software including but not limited to Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power BI
- Extremely comfortable with datasets, dataset manipulation and data analysis
- Proven Analytical Ability
- Familiarity with at least one Coding Language(s) (SQL, R, Python, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Creates tools (e.g., dashboards and reports) to be used in both the field and home office to help achieve underwriting excellence across CRS.
- Acts as liaison between CRS and IT to ensure quality data extracts from the data identified as the “source of truth”.
- Performs product analysis via data analytics, monitoring key product metrics and performance indicators
- Collaborates with other CRS team members for cross-functional initiatives to ensure alignment with business goals
Other
- 5+ years of insurance experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred in one or more of the following disciplines: Business, Insurance, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Data Science or Statistics
- Exceptional Communication Skills (both written and oral)
- Ability to work independently
