Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or other related fields
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Product Management or a related business role
- 10+ years of experience in data-related roles, demonstrating expertise in data strategy, governance, and product development
- Prior experience in delivering enterprise-scale data products, with deep domain knowledge and expertise in driving cross-functional collaboration
- Certified Scrum Product Owner or similar Agile certification
- Experience with data strategy, governance, and product development
Responsibilities
- Develop and communicate a clear data product vision and roadmap for Human Resources Data Products that aligns with enterprise business objectives and priorities
- Define the strategy for data product development, ensuring timely delivery of high-value datasets, data models, and analytics capabilities
- Collaborate with Data Domain Owners and business leaders to establish and track Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for data products, regularly adjusting based on progress and feedback
- Ensure data products are built as reusable, modular components, reducing technical debt and enabling scalability
- Oversee the end-to-end development and lifecycle of data products, from requirements gathering to operationalization
- Create, prioritize, and maintain a data product backlog that reflects business needs and progress toward OKRs
- Translate business requirements into detailed data requirements, data models, and user stories for the team
Other
- Lead cross-functional teams to fulfill complex and aspirational objectives, fostering innovation and alignment with business goals
- Manage budgets for the pods and product teams, manage other professional employees and managers
- Perform employee reviews for those staff
- Occasional Travel: The job may require travel from time- to-time, but not on a regular basis
- Onsite: M-F, 8am – 5pm
