Morgan Stanley is seeking to manage data quality risk by completing risk assessments and overseeing data risk reduction efforts within the Data Governance & AI Non-Financial Risk team.
Requirements
- At least 4 years’ experience in data quality, data governance, data architecture, or enterprise data modeling-preferably in financial services.
- Deep understanding of the data lifecycle and prioritization strategies for data quality with expertise in Data Quality tools.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other data analysis tools.
- Ability to clearly present complex issues and influence senior decision-makers.
- Proven ability to train and mentor team members and risk officers on metrics and governance practices.
Responsibilities
- Represent and advocate for the Data Governance Office in data risk and governance forums, primarily as a Data Quality SME.
- Lead Data Quality implementation efforts and working groups, providing strategic direction and subject matter expertise.
- Maintain and enhance data and data quality governance taxonomies, including maintaining inventories and metadata tagging.
- Apply Data Quality Program framework to risks, metrics, and monitoring practices across the organization.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and communicate effectively to coordinate and support governance initiatives.
