Buyers Edge Platform is seeking a Data Science Analyst to support model development, run retroactive analyses, build dashboards, and generate insights that drive business decisions in the food service industry
Requirements
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases
- Proficiency in Python, R, or a similar data analysis language
- Experience with visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or equivalent)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to clearly communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Experience working with large datasets
Responsibilities
- Pull, clean, and validate data from relational databases and other data sources
- Partner with data scientists to prepare datasets for modeling and analysis
- Run retroactive analyses of model performance and summarize results
- Support smaller tickets for model building, including feature engineering and exploratory analysis
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
- Design and maintain dashboards that track KPIs, model performance, and other business-critical metrics
- Communicate insights clearly through written reports, visualizations, and presentations
