Requirements

  • Demonstrated proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL
  • Hands-on experience using libraries like pandas, Numpy, scikit-learn, and PyTorch
  • Familiarity with big data tools and cloud platforms, especially AWS, Dataiku, and Snowflake
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks including FAIR principles
  • Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, LLMs, statistical analysis, and MLOps practices
  • Experience with graph databases like Neo4J and visualization tools such as Tableau or ReactJS/D3
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards in healthcare and biotechnology, including HIPAA compliance

Responsibilities

  • Designing and deploying sophisticated analytical models and AI solutions, including natural language processing and GenAI applications
  • Leading the development of digital platforms and tools that enhance organizational efficiency and data accessibility
  • Overseeing impactful projects
  • Serving as a technical leader and mentor
  • Driving the creation of cutting-edge solutions that empower the organization
  • Developing advanced data science capabilities
  • Deploying machine learning algorithms, LLMs, statistical analysis, and MLOps practices for scalable and production-ready deployment

Other

  • A master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field; a Ph.D. is highly regarded
  • Between 5 to 7 years of proven success delivering impactful data science solutions, with demonstrated leadership and mentorship experience
  • Ability to work on a hybrid schedule in Waltham, MA
  • Relevant certifications or experience with regulatory standards in healthcare data governance
  • Excellent collaboration skills to partner effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex insights to senior leadership
