First Horizon Corporation is looking to solve day-to-day business problems by providing data analysis, modeling, reporting, and data visualization support
Requirements
- Foundational understanding of databases and SQL
- Familiarity with common python data science packages; pandas, NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn, stats models, XGBoost, and Prophet
- Knowledge of or experience with data visualization tools, such as Microsoft Excel or PowerBI
- Experience with Azure, Databricks, Python, R, SQL
- Demonstrated knowledge of machine learning and statistical modeling
- Knowledge of common classification (XGBoost, LightGBM, catBoost, Random Forest, logistic regression, SVP, etc.), and forecasting (ARIMA, SARIMAX, Prophet) algorithms
- Experience common to putting an ML model into production; version control, object-oriented programming, writing unit tests, etc
Responsibilities
- Assist with data research, enrichment, modeling, and analysis
- Write SQL to collect and prepare data for analysis
- Perform data analysis, processing, and modeling in Python
- Support dashboard and visualization development in PowerBI/Fabric
- Provide input on data visualization techniques and opportunities
- Participate in team reviews of analysis to provide additional insights and perspectives on the analysis
- Various project and processes assistance as needed
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, Analytics, IT, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related field
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status)
- No travel required
