Turquoise Health is looking to solve the business problem of transforming healthcare pricing transparency by simplifying, clarifying, and reducing healthcare costs for patients and providers. The Data Science Engineer will help enhance their healthcare pricing platform through data solutions.
Requirements
- At least 2+ years of experience developing data models, pipelines, and end-to-end analytical solutions
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and modeling
- Solid understanding of data architecture and engineering practices, including ETL/ELT workflows
- Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow and dbt
- Knowledge of cloud-based storage solutions like S3 and Redshift
- Fundamental understanding of analytics and machine learning techniques
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web frameworks
Responsibilities
- designing and implementing data solutions that enhance our healthcare pricing platform
- working cross-functionally with product teams and subject matter experts to develop scalable data models, pipelines, and analytical tools
- connect disparate datasets such as claims data, contract rates, and demographics to provide actionable insights for internal stakeholders and external clients
- Applying industry-standard data science techniques, you will analyze complex datasets, create visualizations, and communicate findings effectively
- contribute to building, maintaining, and testing robust data pipelines
