Responsibilities
- Apply machine learning and/or other data science techniques to conduct scientific research
- Improve remote sensing data products and analysis
- Integrate machine learning with physics-based models
- Improve processing of remotely-sensed Earth Science data
- Exploit global geostationary operational satellites for Earth science research and applications
- Synthesize low-earth orbiting and geostationary satellite remote sensing for research and applications
- Model terrestrial and marine/aquatic systems, climate downscaling and resilience
