Brady Corporation is seeking a Data Science intern to contribute to the development of innovative solutions, working alongside talented engineers to solve real business problems.
Requirements
- Experience with one or more query languages (e.g., SQL, PL/SQL, DDL, MDX, HiveQL, SparkSQL, Scala).
- Experience with one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, KornShell).
- Experience with data mining and data warehouse solutions.
- Experience with ETL flow and tools.
- Basic knowledge of programming in languages like Python, Java, C/C++, etc.
- Familiarity with core areas of computer science such as Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or Deep Learning.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and automate deployment of our distributed system for collecting and processing log events from multiple sources.
- Design data schema and operate internal data warehouses and SQL/NoSQL database systems.
- Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards to drive key business decisions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot operational or data issues in the data pipelines.
- Drive architectural plans and implementation for future data storage, reporting, and analytic solutions.
- Enhance the AI-driven aspects of our solutions, learning from and contributing to projects that utilize extensive datasets—including text, images, and multimodal data—to solve real business problems.
- Assist in developing cutting-edge machine learning models, particularly focusing on Large Language Models (LLMs), to streamline operations using diverse data sources.

- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
