KCF Technologies is seeking a Data Science Intern to contribute to their Machine Health Solutions Platform, aiming to solve machine health problems, drive safety and sustainability, and eradicate downtime, waste, and injuries.
Requirements
- Familiarity with tools such as AWS, Databricks, and Delta Lake.
- Knowledge and experience working with one or more programming languages (Python, Spark, etc.).
- Demonstrated aptitude in designing and implementing data-driven models using machine learning techniques and neural networks.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize data-driven models using machine learning and analytical techniques.
- Collect, clean, and regularize data using industry best practices and standards.
- Document and present model plans and results, workflows, best practices, and recommendations.
- Evaluate, improve, and develop AI products and solutions.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret vast amounts of data to identify ways to help our business improve operationally and gain ROI through proactive maintenance.
Other
- Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or other related technical or scientific degree program, in at least their second year. (Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to operate in a team environment with other engineers
- Strong organization and attention-to-detail.
- Willingness to ask questions, take initiative and be resourceful
- Proven ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems
