Visa's Data Team is looking for Data Science Interns to use Visa's rich data to address and deliver significant results to complex problems, developing Data Analytics solutions to solve business problems.
Requirements
- Experience in understanding and analyzing data using statistical software (e.g., Python, SAS, R, Stata or others)
- Experience with visualization and reporting tools, such as advanced user of PPT, Power BI, Tableau, open-source tool, or similar
Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage datasets using tools such as Python, SQL, Spark, or Hive, including efficient data wrangling and fulfillment of ad-hoc requests.
- Conduct business data analyses to uncover key insights and effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Design and develop BI tools using platforms like Power BI and Tableau.
- Interpret and analyze data by understanding BI pipelines, performing exploratory and machine learning–based analytics, and delivering actionable insights.
- Monitor and enhance BI tools by identifying insights, creating demos, and enabling teams to maximize tool value.
- Execute large-scale data analytics to extract and present meaningful business insights.
- Recommend improvements to tools and techniques that optimize existing processes or support new initiatives with long-term value.
