Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Data Science Intern to advance operational efficiencies and enhance data volume and integrity for future AI development by designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining applications.
Requirements
- Proficiency in programming languages of R, Python, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or similar.
- Proficiency in frameworks including R/Shiny, Shiny for Python, React.
- Demonstrated skills in agile development with CI/CD fundamentals.
- Preferred knowledge of technical areas such as Snowflake, Databricks, Spark
- Preferred experience of Azure or AWS cloud infrastructure
- Preferred experience with git repos/code versioning practices
Responsibilities
- Adhere to software development lifecycle foundations to design, develop, and deploy web and mobile applications built to solve complex business challenges.
- Identifies meaningful insights from large data and metadata sources in support of continuous improvement efforts and business process upgrades through exploratory data analysis.
