Responsibilities
- Cleaning and analyzing large complex data sets for commodity food processor to provide insights to customers regarding potential production improvements
- Working with services and ADL data scientists to understand and document customer problems and translate this into application development and data science requirements
- Assess cutting edge machine learning techniques in the analysis of large complex data sets for food production companies
- Develop data science forecasting techniques to improve commodity forecasting accuracy
- Improve technical skills regarding the parsing and analysis of large complex data sets.
- In particular develop a good understanding of the use of modern data analysis techniques including PYTHON, SQL, R and others
- Appreciate the development of robust production software applications from design to testing and release

- This is a twelve (12) week internship program starting in May 2026.
- You must be enrolled in college during the internship with a graduation date after August 2026.
- Candidates must be pursuing a bachelors degree or higher in applied science or mathematics or similar from an accredited college or university
- Should have a real interest in the application of modern math techniques in the advancement of data science research
- An interest in continuous production and food processing is useful
