CME Group is seeking to transform various data sources into actionable business insights that drive sales initiatives through the role of a Data Science Intern.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in a scripting language (e.g., Python, R).
- Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency with Tableau.
- Experience with cloud service platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure)
Responsibilities
- Execute data acquisition, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes utilizing tools such as SQL (Big Query) and SAP Business Object.
- Develop compelling data visualizations using Tableau, Looker, Streamlit, or R Shiny.
- Perform data processing and develop analytical models.
Other
- Must be currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Math, Statistics, Data Science, Financial Engineering, Engineering).
- A finance background is highly advantageous.

- Hours: Summer: 32 hours per week, Fall: 16 hours per week
