Boston Legacy FC is looking for a Data Science Intern, Soccer Analytics to support player modeling and data analysis to develop data-driven insights that support coaching, scouting, and performance strategy.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of statistical and/or machine learning modeling techniques
- Experience with sports analytics - through internships, research projects, or independent work - is preferred
- Familiarity with soccer metrics and performance analysis tools is a plus
Responsibilities
- Build and enhance player performance models using statistical and machine learning methods
- Develop and maintain data pipelines to collect, clean and process data from a variety of soccer specific sources.
- Partner with analytics team members to deliver insights that inform sporting operations

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field
