The Data Science Lead Analyst will partner with stakeholders across HR and the business to address key organizational challenges, inform HR strategy, and transform workforce data into evidence-based solutions.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data visualization tools (such as Tableau or Power BI)
  • Experience with analyzing complex, high volume, high dimensionality data from varying sources and both structured and unstructured
  • Advanced knowledge of machine learning /statistical techniques, data mining, regression, decision trees, text mining, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms to uncover strategic business intelligence on our workforce, including predicting employee behavior, performance, attrition, and engagement, while accounting for the unique complexities of people data.
  • Drive analytical projects from start to finish, from data preparation and exploratory analysis to model development, storytelling, and presenting final recommendations to HR leaders and executives.
  • Partner with HR COEs, IT, and broader data science community to ensure data environments are robust, secure, and optimized for innovative analytics.
  • Champion responsible and ethical use of Generative AI, LLMs, and deep learning methods to surface trends, topics, and emerging needs within large, multifaceted pools of people data.
  • Identify data gaps and opportunities, working proactively with stakeholders to align work with the most meaningful business questions and challenges.
  • Make key information accessible through self-service dashboards and tools, empowering HR and business leaders to monitor, explore, and act on insights.
  • Nurture a data-driven culture by coaching team members, sharing new methodologies, and promoting best practices in analytics and people insights.

Other

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or another quantitative discipline
  • 5-6+ years’ work experience in a data analytics/science role
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and work effectively with people at all levels in the organization
  • Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively and willingness to understand the business implications of a wide variety of data
  • Be a vigilant steward of data privacy, ensuring all analytics initiatives align with organizational, legal, and ethical standards.
