Marriott Vacations Worldwide is looking to solve business problems through data analysis and modeling, and is seeking interns to support department specific day-to-day operations and contribute to business innovation.
Requirements
- Ability to work with data sources to identify and understand key data required for modeling
- Develop and maintain scripts to implement data extraction, data wrangling, data cleaning, and feature creation
- Experience with data analysis and modeling
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts and findings in a clear and understandable manner
- Ability to develop dashboards and reports to communicate effectively results and insights to stakeholders
- Ability to support the development, testing, and deployment of models
- Ability to provide business partners with clear and concise recommendations based on findings and insights obtained from model results
Responsibilities
- Assist with department specific day-to-day operations.
- Support project planning and execution under the guidance of team members.
- Gather and analyze data to support projects, reports, or presentation.
- Understand business problems and translate requirements into analytical frameworks.
- Explore data sources to help identify and understand key data required for modeling.
- Run Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to identify data trends, relationships, and anomalies
- Help identify the appropriate models that solve specific business problems.

- Ability to work a full-time schedule.
- Candidates must be actively pursuing a college degree at any level.
