SeatGeek is looking to optimize marketing channel performances and make data-driven decisions to grow and retain customers.
Requirements
- Expertise with at least one scripting language (ideally Python, though R is acceptable)
- Expert-level knowledge of SQL
- Experience with analytics & visualization tools (Looker, ggplot/matplotlib or equivalent)
- Experience performing analysis with large datasets
- Familiarity with languages: Python (preferred) or R, SQL
- Familiarity with version control: Git
- Familiarity with orchestration: Airflow
Responsibilities
- Develop, validate and maintain machine learning models that support business strategies and decisions
- Design experiments or use causal inference methods to measure channel incrementality or campaign effectiveness
- Develop research questions and conduct data analysis to generate insights and recommendations
- Define, evaluate, and monitor key metrics, understanding the root causes of changes
- Work closely with the Analytics Engineering team to build lasting, analysis-friendly data models
- Contribute to the development of the Demand Analytics function and the wider data community at SeatGeek
- Partner with stakeholders on the Demand team to align work and enhance their ability to achieve goals
Other
- 3+ years of relevant applied experience with a degree or higher in economics, computer science, statistics, or mathematics or another quantitative discipline
- Independent thinking, ability to work autonomously, capability of taking on loosely defined problems
- Natural communication skills with a value for building strong relationships with colleagues and partners
- Flexible work environment, allowing you to work as many days a week in the office as you’d like or 100% remotely
