Sepal AI needs a Data Scientist to recreate and evaluate complex workflows, directly shaping how AI models are tested for safety, reliability, and compliance in high-stakes business environments.
Requirements
- 3+ years in data science or analytics with strong Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, or similar).
- Fluent in SQL and comfortable wrangling messy semi-structured data.
- Experience with Databricks, Spark, or other distributed data platforms.
- Curious about AI safety and eager to quantify where models succeed and where they can’t be trusted.
Responsibilities
- Design evaluation scenarios that simulate real-world business workflows.
- Write concise Python scripts/notebooks that run tasks, score model responses, and label failure modes.
- Analyze run results, apply statistical tests, and summarize insights for researchers and enterprise customers.
