Turn/River Capital is seeking a Data Scientist to empower its portfolio companies through data and insights, aiming to gauge business health, identify opportunities and risks, and enhance operational efficiency and strategic insights.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in a data analyst, data scientist, or another analytical role
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
- 2+ years of experience building and maintaining Tableau dashboards
- Experience with ETL tools
- Experience with Git
- Experience with Google Cloud products preferred
Responsibilities
- Own the data and reporting infrastructure for a set of portfolio companies
- Collaborate on ad-hoc analysis projects, custom reporting, and predictive models
- Conduct portfolio-level analysis on marketing, sales, and customer success data
- Identify trends, forecast sales, predict customer churn, and spot expansion opportunities based on product usage
- Proactively evaluate, recommend, and lead the implementation of AI-driven tools and solutions
- Partner with the Investment team to execute due diligence on potential investments/acquisitions
