The Data Scientist within the Strategic Analytics group at Echo is responsible for transforming vast amounts of internal and external data into actionable business value.
Requirements
- Machine learning and predictive analytics experience using Python and R.
- Familiarity with statistical modeling techniques such as hierarchical models, time series forecasting, experimental design and analysis, spatial modeling, optimization methods (pricing, revenue optimization), and Bayesian methods.
- Experience incorporating generative AI/LLMs for analytical applications.
- Proficiency in SQL for database querying, data extraction, and manipulation across relational database management systems (RDBMS).
- Experience developing and deploying data science applications using frameworks such as R Shiny, Streamlit, and FastAPI.
- Experience managing cloud data science deployments via AWS SageMaker.
- Experience with MLOps, data engineering pipelines (ETL), and deployment technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, etc.).
Responsibilities
- Developing end-to-end data science solutions, from initial data extraction and modeling to production deployment and ongoing maintenance.
- Leverage machine learning, statistical modeling, and modern cloud technologies to build scalable analytics solutions
- Translate complex analytical insights into clear business recommendations that drive organizational decision-making.
- Develops robust technical implementations
- Works closely with IT teams to integrate solutions into the broader business infrastructure.
