Deliver demonstratable service to the Finance, Client Services, HR and Sales team building and servicing existing data reports, dashboards and bespoke Python tools to help build insight from data in order to deliver effective solutions based on a deep understanding of the business.
Requirements
- Experience or proficiency in Python
- Experience or proficiency in SQL
- Experience or proficiency in RESTful API
- Good understanding of databases, data modelling, and SQL
- Experience with Python and/or Java
- Experience with REST APIs
- Strong interest in data engineering and developing in the field
Responsibilities
- Work with databases and structure data from external sources
- Automate tasks using Python, Power Automate, and VBA
- Build bespoke tools to improve business efficiency
- Maintain and update existing applications
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards across the business
- Produce regular MI reporting packs, used up to board level
- Respond to business requests, scope projects, and provide regular updates
Other
- Work within the Analytics team – both independently and collaboratively
- Run fact-finding sessions to gather business requirements
- Communicate technical ideas clearly to non-technical colleagues
- Provide ad-hoc Excel support across the business
- Prioritise and manage multiple projects at once
